Romance comedy series "The Law Cafe" starring Lee Seung Gi and Lee Se Young stirs global buzz as the drama closes its first half of broadcast.
The series follows the story of two prosecutors who meet outside the court as landlord and tenant, and fall in love with one another for the second time.
On September 26, the series released its seventh episode which took the entire Hallyu scene by storm.
While Lee Seung Gi and Lee Se Young's characters have kissed multiple times in the drama, the intimacy that the two shared in the recent episode raised the romantic index to a whole new level.
In episode 7, Kim Yu Ri (Lee Se Young) rushes to save Kim Jeong Ho (Lee Se Young) who was abducted by his client's gang of bullies.
Her initial instinct to safeguard Kim Jeong Ho from harm warmed the latter's heart, making him swoon over her. At the end of the episode, the two once again shared a passionate kiss, stirring buzz in the global entertainment scene.

Fans argued that the kiss in the latest episode was the most intense, perfectly showcasing their fiery feelings for one another. In addition to that, Lee Seung Gi gained a new nickname, "Kissing Monster," after his almost two-decade stay in the industry.
With that said, viewers couldn't wait to see more of Lee Seung Gi and Lee Se Young's romantic moments in the series, making "The Law Cafe" one of the most loved works this 2022.
'The Law Cafe' Recovers From Slight Dip in Ratings
After a slight dip in viewership ratings, "The Law Cafe" recovers and regains its momentum.
"The Law Cafe" episode 7, which depicted the heart-racing fight against bullies and abuse, recorded an average rating of 5.9% nationwide, taking the No. 1 among other dramas.
The recorded rating is 0.3% higher than the previous episode, proving its rise from the rating slump.

As the drama enters its second half of broadcast, Lee Seung Gi and Lee Se Young's drama is expected to receive higher ratings in the following weeks.
