Lee Dong Wook in Discussion To Lead Action K-Drama 'Good Man'
While busy working with other entertainment activities, Lee Dong Wook made headlines on September 29 as media outlet YTN released a report announcing the actor received an offer to join the cast of the forthcoming K-drama "Good Man."
In addition to the report, the "Goblin" star was offered to portray the role of the drama's main protagonist. On the same day after the news broke out, a representative from the "Good Man" production confirmed that Lee Dong Wook is positively considering starring in the series.
What We Know So Far About Lee Dong Wook's Potential Drama
"Good Man" is an action drama that follows the story of Seok Cheol, the eldest grandson of the three generations of gangsters who come down as a grandfather gangster, a father gangster, and a son gangster.
Seok Cheol is a strong character who would do everything to protect his family, work, and love. The drama is also expected to bring laughter and tears to viewers. As Lee Dong Wook was courted to star in the project, expectations are also high for the brilliant actor.
He has been constantly trying to transform a variety of characters in every project he did before such as "My Girl," "Scent of a Woman," "Hotel King," "Guardian: The Lonely and Great God," "Strangers From Hell," and more.

If he accepts the role, "Good Man" marks Lee Dong Wook's second action-comedy drama following tvN's "Bad and Crazy" in 2021, in which he teamed up for the first time with "Squid Game" actor and breakout star Wi Ha Joon.
'Good Man' Production Aims To Start Filming in 2023
In addition to the upcoming series, "Good Man" is said to be produced by Kim Un Kyung, the creative mind behind "There is a Bluebird," "The Moon of Seoul," and "Yuna's Street." Meanwhile, "Our Happy Time" director Song Hae Sung is in charge of helming the project.
"Good Man" has the goal to finish the casting before this year ends and start filming in earnest in the second half of 2023.
On the other hand, Lee Dong Wook is currently busy filming his comeback drama "Tale of the Nine Tailed 1938," which is the sequel to his previous K-drama "Tale of the Nine Tailed," which was aired in 2020.
