Fans couldn't help but gush over Han Hyo Joo and Kim Yoo Jung's reunion at "Chanel in Jeju" for the luxury brand's opening of a pop-up boutique.

Over Twitter, netizens wanted the duo to be in the same projects 12 years after joining the cast of historical K-drama.

It can be recalled that Kim Yoo Jung and Han Hyo Joo both appeared in the 2010 series "Dong Yi."

The 35-year-old actress took on the titular role also known as Choi Suk Bin, who works at the palace as water maid.

On the other hand, then child star Kim Yoo Jung played the young Dong Yi.

Interestingly, fans would get to see the duo in one project as Netflix confirms the appearance of Han Hyo Joo in Kim Yoo Jung's new movie.

Han Hyo Joo to Make a Cameo in '20th Century Girl'

Kim Yoo Jung stars as Na Bo Ra, a 17-year-old high school student who is smitten by her classmate.

Set to be released on October 21, the Netflix movie also stars Park Jung Woo, Byeon Woo Seok, and Roh Yoon Seo as lead stars.

However, Netflix will also feature a cameo of Han Hyo Joo as well as Ong Seong Wu in the upcoming movie.

In a report, BH Entertainment confirmed that the actress "will make a special appearance in '20th Century Girl.'"

The forthcoming youth melodrama, helmed and written by Bang Woo Ri, will be screened at Busan International Festival 2022 from October 5th to October 14th at the Busan Cinema Center.

Kim Yoo Jung and Han Hyo Joo's Back-to-Back Projects

Apart from the "20th Century Girl", Kim Yoo Jung will return to the small screen as she joins Cha Eun Woo, Ryu Seung Ryong, and Ahn Jae Hong as one of the lead stars in "Sweet and Sour Chicken."

Based on the webtoon "Fried Chicken" it follows the story of a stunning girl who was turned into a chicken after she entered a mysterious machine.

The fantasy comedy K-drama will be under Lee Byung Hun, the director of "Extreme Job" and "Be Melodramatic."

As for Han Hyo Joo, she will have her K-drama comeback through the soon-to-be-released series "Moving" and an upcoming K-drama with Joo Ji Hoon for "Dominant Species."
