As the story progressed, the link between the boys in the past and the continuing murder case is gradually revealed, while Ryu Sung Joon and Ryu Sung Hoon discovered the identity of the possible culprit and gave him time to prove himself.
Sung Hoon deceived not only his brother but also the police as he met Sung Joon with Jo Eun Ki (Jung Eun Ji) and learned the full story of the Jung Man Chun (Jeon Jin Woo) family murder case.
Though there was no evidence to substantiate his innocence other than his words, Sung Hoon was determined to help Sung Joon to take responsibility for his trial.
Sung Joon, Sung Hoon & Eun Ki Team Up To Uncover the Truth
The trio started working together to uncover the truth of the murder. They set out to find clues in their own way.
In the midst of this, Kwon Kwon (Kang Na Eon), who was protecting Jo Eun Ki, was attacked. Choi Soon Gil (Choi Jae Yeop), the taxi driver and one of her jury members, had a grudge against her.
Kwon Kwon testified to the cops, revealing he had a tattoo on his arm. When tracing the history of Choi, who has expressed aggression towards women, crime techniques, and scars left on his arm, it is clear that he is the culprit.
Additionally, he was confirmed to be present at the time of the death of Yeom Hye Jin (Baek Seung Hee).

Ahn Tae Ho Becomes Suspect In Yeom Hye Jin's Case
Randomly, it was a shock to find him bleeding in front of Sung Joon, who visited the house of Choi Soon Gil, a lead suspect in the case of Yeom Hye Jin and Kwon Yu Na.
Earlier, Soon Gil recognized one of the boys who escaped from the courthouse 20 years ago and threatened him. A strange guy also visited Soon Gil, which was said to be the identity of Boy #7.
