Another month means another set of upcoming K-dramas this October. Interestingly, this month will showcase premiering series with interesting team-ups and highly anticipated K-dramas featuring familiar faces.
From rom-com to crime series to small screen comebacks of lead stars, here are the 4 new K-dramas debuting from October 2 to October 8, 2022.
'Cheer-Up'
Release Date: October 3
The youth rom-com series follows the story of a popular cheer squad at Yeonhee University known as Teyia.
As the new school year welcomes rookie cheer member Do Hae Yi, she utilizes this to overcome her difficulties at home.
Little did she know that her life would change upon meeting fellow cheer squad members.
"Cheer-Up" stars Han Ji Hyun as Do Hae Yi along with Bae In Hyuk, Kim Hyun Jin, Jang Gyu Ri, Yang Dong Geun, and "All of Us Are Dead" actress Lee Eun Saem.

"Cheer-Up" is available via SBS airing every Monday and Tuesday.
'Bad Prosecutor'
Release Date: October 5
EXO's D.O. surprised viewers as he transformed into the ill-mannered prosecutor Jin Jung who is eager to bring down the corrupt and those who abuse their wealth and power.
Set to premiere on October 5, "Bad Prosecutor" is a 12-episode K-drama that depicts the journey of prosecutor Jin Jung and his mission to fight for justice.
Apart from EXO's D.O, the "Bad Prosecutor" cast includes Lee Se Hee as senior prosecutor Shin Ah Ra while Ha Joon plays the antagonist, Oh Do Hwan, the ambitious prosecutor who uses his power to ascend to the top.
"Bad Prosecutor" will be the newest Wednesday and Thursday K-drama airing via KBS2, and Netflix for English subtitles.
'Love is for Suckers'
Release Date: October 5
After the success of "Extraordinary Attorney Woo," ENA delivers an interesting team-up between Choi Si Won and Lee Da Hee for the upcoming K-drama "Love is for Suckers."
The new rom-com series depicts the story of best friends Gu Yeoreum, played by Lee Da Hee, and Park Jae Hun, portrayed by Choi Si Won, who harbor a different outlook when it comes to love.
Interestingly, things will change after Park Hae Hun agrees to enter Gu Yeoreum's reality TV show called "The Kingdom of Love."
Viewers will get to see the main characters' dynamic as a producer and cast members along with their budding romance.
"Love is for Suckers" airs on October 5 every Wednesday and Thursday through ENA and Viki.
'Glitch'
Release Date: October 7
Last but definitely not the least K-drama airing this October 2022 is the sci-fi thriller series "Glitch" which stars Nana and Jeon Yeo Bin.
It follows the journey of two women who are on a mission to find Hong Ji Hyo's missing boyfriend.
Joining Nana and Jeon Yeo Bin in "Glitch" are Lee Dong Hwi, Ryu Kyung Soo, and Jeon Bae Soo as Ji Hyo's father.
"Glitch" will premiere on October 7 exclusively on Netflix.
