K-dramas always comfort us with their storytelling, but sometimes we find ourselves invested in a particular genre. While there are legal, romance, comedy, or campus tropes, these 7 "Forced Cohabitation" K-dramas - "Suspicious Partner," "Full House," and more - will keep you company whenever you feel lonely living independently.
'Full House'
Starring Hallyu icons Song Hye Kyo and Rain, this classic series tells the story of re-occurring meetings of the leads establishing a rocky start early on. Things didn't go according to her plan after Han Ji Eun (Song Hye Kyo) discovers she's been scammed by her friends out of her home, which is sold to a celebrity Lee Young Jae (Rain).
As they are forced to live together, they bicker and fight at every turn, but their chemistry is undeniable and she desperately can't give up on the home her father built after he had named it full house. Ji Eun and Young Jae's relationship changes from annoyance to admiration and finally turns to love.
'Personal Taste'
Searching for a good place to rent can be hard to come by, or even a good roommate for that matter. When Jeon Jin Ho (Lee Min Ho), a straight guy, applies for a room rental, his behavior and hobbies are accidentally mistaken as someone who is gay by Park Gae In (Son Ye Jin) renting out the place.
After months of misunderstanding and bickering moments, the two establish a special bond and end up falling in love with each other.
'Suspicious Partner'
In this hit legal-thriller-romance K-drama, Bong Hee (Nam Ji Hyun) and No Ji Wook (Ji Chang Wook) live in one house after she is kicked out of her property and accused of a crime that she didn't commit. They work together at a law firm, which is also located in Ji Wook's house.
'You're Beautiful'

Go Mi Nyeo (Park Shin Hye) has to pretend to be her twin brother Go Min Nam to take his place in the popular boy band A.N.JELL. Part of the contract is living together with the band's members in order to build a good relationship as a solid group.
'Playful Kiss'
From the original Japanese manga "Mischievous Kiss," the K-drama tells the story of when the coolest and smartest guy Baek Seung Jo (Kim Hyun Joong) rebuffs Oh Ha Ni's (Jung So Min) confession letter. However, due to a natural disaster that causes her home to be destroyed, her father asks for help from his childhood friend, and they end up moving into this friend's house.
The biggest plot twist? The guy she confessed to is her father's friend's son!
Their love-hate relationship begins to bloom, and since they are already living together, they both can't seem to escape from each other.
'My Roommate is a Gumiho'
Shin Woo Yeo (Jang Ki Yong), a handsome and genius professor who is a 999-year-old nine-tailed fox, lives off human energy by storing the energy in a marble-like bead. Hoping to reach his goal before his 1000th year, due to an unexpected situation, his bead falls from his mouth and into the mouth of Lee Dam (Hyeri).
When he finally explains the situation and his identity to her, he suggests that they need to live together and she's never even had a boyfriend. But due to the bead being inside her, they try to figure out their strange predicament while being roommates.
'Crash Landing On You'
This is one of the most romantic "forced cohabitation" dramas, which depicts the journey of a South Korean chaebol Yoon Se Ri (Son Ye Jin) and North Korean military captain Ri Jeong Hyeok (Hyun Bin). Due to an unfortunate paragliding accident, she was blown into North Korea and falls from a tree and crash-landed to Ri Jeong Hyeok.
Rather than turning her in, he kindly tries to help her home safely and undetected. However, many issues prevent this from happening, so they decide to briefly live together and pose as an engaged couple.
