Based on the webtoon "Joseon Psychiatrist Yoo Se Poong" the weekday K-drama depicts the story of a skilled physician Yoo Se Poong (Kim Min Jae) who managed to clear his name after an influential person tried to drag him into a conspiracy relating to the King's death.
Due to this, he unexpectedly meets the members of the Gyesoo Clini run by Kye Ji Han (Kim Sang Kyung) who used to be one of the top-notch physicians.
Apart from it, he also meets Lady Seo Eun Woo (Kim Hyang Gi) a widow who chose to work with Se Poong and Ji Han as a physician.
As "Poong, the Joseon Psychiatrist" season 2 airs, the sequel will highlight Yoo Se Poong's connection with the palace as well as his romance with Lady Seo.

The episode starts with District Governor Ahn Hak Soo ordering one of his men, Chil Sung, to spy on the members of Gyesoo Clinic and record every suspicious activity that they will do.
In the last scene of "Poong, the Joseon Psychiatrist 2" episode 7, Seo Eun Woo chose to leave Gyesoo Clinic in order not to give Yoo Se Poong and the rest a hard time dealing with patients.
However, Yoo Se Poong was devastated by Lady Seo's choice but understands that they need time apart.
