Kwon Sang Woo and Son Tae Young couple volunteered in the middle of the winter. In order to help out the neighbors who are in an unfortunate environment, they delivered briquettes to their houses. In addition to the briquette volunteer work, Kwon Sang Woo and Son Tae Young couple also donated a bag of rice to each household in the poor neighborhood.

Kwon Sang Woo and Son Tae Young couple on December 7, 2013, participated in the "Briquette Sharing For Love" event which was held in Athena Cultural Foundation in Ma Chun Dong, Seoul. This year is Song Tae Young's second year of volunteering through the Athena Cultural Foundation. Kwon Sang Woo volunteered with Son Tae Young, taking some time before filming the drama, "The Medical Top Team."

A volunteer who participated in the same event as the Kwon Sang Woo and Son Tae Young couple shared on the social media account, "I was happy to share the previous briquettes and rice with nice people," and posted pictures of Kwon Sang Woo and Son Tae Young couple delivering briquettes and bags of rice to the households, and hanging out with the volunteer group members.

Son Tae Young said, "They say that volunteer works where the volunteers have to take their own time off still lacks in participation. Of course, donating money is great, but I thought that moving my body to help somebody out in this cold weather, I thought that would be a meaningful way to help people out," on her reasons for delivering briquettes for two years.
