Jeon So Nee is determined to clear her name as "Our Blooming Youth" featured a crime involving her family. Amid the investigation, she believes that the Crown Prince, played by Park Hyung Sik, knew the reason behind her father's death.
"Our Blooming Youth" is a historical-romance series that follows the story of Min Jae Yi (Jeon So Nee). She was engaged to the son of powerful State Councillor, Han Sung On (Yoon Jeong Sook) but their marriage faced difficulties after Lady Min Jae Yi gets caught up in a conspiracy.
The town speculates she was the one behind her family's death and had a lover. However, she will do everything to clear her name with the help of the Crown prince (Park Hyung Sik).

Lady Min Jae Yi, who is disguised as eunuch Go Soon Dol, examined peony blossom flowers she found at shaman's house. Through this, she recalled the day that her family was murdered as someone was burning peony blossom incense in the kitchen.
Moreover, she also recalled that Sim Yeong visited her while she was making soup for the family but couldn't remember what they were talking about.
In the next scene, the Crown Prince had a heated discussion with Min Jae Yi, asking her if she lied to him. In addition, he also accused her of lying and manipulating him.
The young royal also thought she and Sim Yeong were lovers because of the suicide note he left.

The Crown Prince handed the letter containing a bracelet that both of them have. Upon reading it, she couldn't believe that Sin Yeong committed suicide, but denied that they were lovers.
Min Jae Yi pointed out that she is innocent but the Crown Prince didn't believe her and asked his servants to drag her out of the Eastern Palace.
Nowhere else to go, she decided to go to Kim Myung Jin, where her former court lady Jang Ga Ram temporarily lives.
On the other hand, the authorities were on the lookout for Lady Min Jae Yi's court lady. Here, Han Sung On wondered why the Crown Prince was investigating the case of his fiancee and the murder of her family, doubting that the young royal was up to something.
During her conversation with Ga Ram, Min Jae Yi told the courtlady, who was also in disguise, that Sim Yeong committed suicide and left a note about them.
Ga Ram was stunned by the tone of the note, pointing out that they were close but Min Jae Yi and he were not lovers.
