'The Glory' Star Jung Ji So To Lead 'Miss Granny' Drama Adaptation
The classic Korean movie "Miss Granny" is making its return to the screen - but this time, a longer version is expected to be released!
According to a news published on March 3, the 2014 famous film "Miss Granny" will be remade into a drama, to be headlined by "The Glory" actress Jung Ji So.
The award-winning film "Miss Granny" received a lot of love not just in Korea but also abroad, that it even has multiple remakes in other countries, including the Philippines, Vietnam, and China.
It features the story of a 70-year-old woman, who suddenly finds herself back in her twenties after having her picture taken at a mysterious photo studio.
In particular, in the forthcoming drama remake, Jung Ji So is confirmed to play the lead role of Oh Doo Ri, a lady in her early seventies who decides to pursue her long-forgotten dream of becoming a singer after her body returns to her 20-year-old self.

It has been said that the drama adaptation is currently ready for production and is scheduled to start filming in the first half of 2023.

Jung Ji So's Career Prospers Following 'The Glory'
Jung Ji So is receiving love calls following her brilliant portrayal as the young Moon Dong Eun in "The Glory."
In 2022, she shared the frame with A-list stars Ha Ji Won, Kang Ha Neul, and Ko Du Shim in KBS' "Curtain Call."
In 2021, she worked with Seo In Guk and Park Bo Young in the fantasy-romance series "Doom at Your Service." In the same year, she headlined the idol-themed drama "Imitation," alongside Lee Jun Young, Park Ji Yeon, and Yunho.
She also starred in other hit dramas, such as "The Cursed," "W: Two Worlds Apart," "Hwajung," "Hyde, Jekyll, Me," "My Blooming Days," "Empress Ki," "The Blade and Petal," "TV Novel: Samsaengi," "Maybe Love," and "May Queen."
