After being summoned due to his drug charges, Yoo Ah In is scheduled to appear before the police this third week of March.
The news comes after the award-winning actor is being involved in controversy over illegal substances after the Ministry of Food and Drug Safety noticed the top star's excessive purchases of propofol for nonmedical purposes.

Following the drug scandal, Yoo Ah In faced massive consequences and has affected his career.
Brands, from food manufacturers to retails, have cut ties with the actor and have removed promotional posters, videos, and advertisements featuring the actor.
As for his on-screen appearance, Yoo Ah In is set to reprise his role as the cult leader in "Hellbound 2."
Unfortunately, because of the massive controversy, the award-winning star has decided to step down from the role.
Netflix then selected Kim Sung Cheol of "Our Beloved Summer" star to play Yoo Ah In's role as New Truth founder Jung Jin Soo.
Meanwhile, his airtime in "High Five" will be reduced.
Adding to the list is being banned from the broadcast network KBS.
