Kim Hieora
Kim Hieora is a non-smoker. But since she had to portray Lee Sa Ra, who is addicted to alcohol, drugs, and cigarettes, she practiced to make her act more natural. According to her, she separately got e-cigarettes and began to practice smoking.

"The Glory" actress revealed that her manager smokes, and advised her to get the weakest e-cigarette. She practiced smoking with the guidance of her manager.
Kim Hieora was worried because she had to smoke pleasantly. There was also a scene where she had to smoke cannabis, and she felt very tired after smoking. She didn't like how it tasted and didn't think of it again afterward.
Lim Ji Yeon
Lim Ji Yeon is immersed in the character of Park Yeon Jin, one of the perpetrators of school violence in the revenge series "The Glory."
Different from Kim Hieora, Lim Ji Yeon confessed that she acted in the smoking scenes in detail. The award-winning actress mentioned in her interview with a media outlet that there were differences when she smoked in front of her onscreen husband Ha Do Young (Jung Sung Il) and when she smoked alone in anger.
Jung Eun Ji
Actress and Apink member Jung Eun Ji received an enthusiastic response for her natural and realistic acting in her drama, "Work Later, Drink Now."
Due to her perfect acting, she was even suspected of smoking for real.
In her interview on the KBS variety program "Problem Child in House," the idol-actress shared that she informed her family beforehand about the smoking scene. Jung Eun Ji told them not to worry because she was using a non-tobacco cigarette.
Unfortunately, some of the family members forgot about it. She mentioned a funny scenario when she was with her family having a meal.
"My dad saw my scene smoking and was shocked that he couldn't speak. Luckily, he remembered that I informed them in advance, and he didn't get angry."
The "Reply 1997" star is a non-smoker, and even though she practiced using a non-tobacco cigarette, she still had stomach cramps after her performance.
Goo Hye Sun
Director and "Boys Over Flowers" lead star Goo Hye Sun learned to smoke for six months to execute a perfect smoking scene in her self-directed film "Dark Yellow."
She explained that when she was helming a feature film, she worked with smokers and non-smoker people.
As the actress observed the characteristics of people who smoke, she thought of trying it and doing it for a particular scene. In that case, she ended up practicing smoking for six months.
