With the success of her K-drama comeback, Kim Hee Ae expressed her gratitude to viewers as "QueenMaker" received an overwhelming response from the public.

The award-winning actress once again delivered an amazing performance after taking on the role of Hwang Do Hee, the head of the corporate strategy department, who is known to be the EunSung Group's "fixer." She worked alongside Moon So Ri, who played the eccentric labor rights lawyer Oh Kyung Sook.

In the 11-episode Netflix series, the duo teamed up to fight influential people, running for the mayoral race.

"QueenMaker" depicts "womance," a unique friendship between two strong female characters.

As the Netflix series continues to gain the attention of viewers worldwide, Kim Hee Ae delivered a special message for fans and viewers.

Kim Hee Ae 'Thankful' to Play Hwang Do Hee in 'QueenMaker'

Shortly after "QueenMaker" made its Netflix debut, the political K-drama entered the top 10 TV shows worldwide.

According to Flix Patrol, a streaming data aggregator platform, Kim Hee Ae and Moon So Ri's K-drama lands 5th place, ranking first place in seven countries, including Japan, Singapore, South Korea, Vietnam, and more.

With this, viewers are looking forward to seeing if "QueenMaker" will return for season 2.

However, as seen in the last episode, Kim Hee Ae's character, who is at the prison, was visited by a person who knew how she transformed Oh Kyung Sook into Seoul's mayor.

The visitor is seeking Hwang Do Hee's help, hinting that she will be back for another mission.

Unfortunately, Netflix and drama officials are yet to confirm if "QueenMaker" season 2 will be renewed or not.
