"I am acting without thinking that I need to look pretty," singer and actor Yoona of the female girl group Girls' Generation said in an interview.

Yoona of Girls' Generation shared her thoughts on playing the role of the main female character on the KBS 2TV Monday Tuesday drama "Prime Minister And I," the first episode of which was aired in the evening of December 9, 2013. Yoona plays a reporter Nam Da Jung, who is in love with the Prime Minister, Kwon Yool, played by Lee Bum Soo.

"It burdens me at times, but I love going to the filming scenes and I have a lot of fun," Yoona said. Regarding on playing a female reporter who is more cheerful and clumsier than the other roles she had played previously, Yoona said, "Nam Da Jung is clumsier but happier than the roles I had done earlier. She and I actually have a lot of similar sides. So I try to act naturally and show my natural, off TV sides." Yoona added, "Since the character goes through the transformation of a female reporter to the goddess, she is going to go through that transformation in the show. To differentiate the two stages of the same character, the stylist and I came up with two different hair and clothing styles."

Yoona added, "I am only focusing on acting without thinking that I need to look pretty on TV. I feel that after acting this character, I will have a lot to feel and look back upon."
