Yoo Ah In appeared before the police for the second private summons following the drug charges against him.

The "Seoul Vibe '' star, who is undergoing an investigation over illegal substance use, attended the hearing after rescheduling it twice.

According to a media outlet, Yoo Ah In arrived at the Seoul Metropolitan Police Agency's Drug Crime Investigation Unit around 9:00 am of May 16. When asked if he "denies the allegations," Yoo Ah In reportedly dodged questions from the media.

This will be the second summons investigation after the initial hearing in March, where the actor underwent a 12-hour questioning by authorities.

As for the second private summons, the Seoul Metropolitan Police Agency will investigate the type and number of drugs he took, how he purchased them, and the possible accomplice he had.

To recall, the actor was scheduled to have his second investigation on May 11, but skipped it after noticing a flock of media waiting for him.

It was rescheduled for May 15, but Yoo Ah In was absent.

Due to this, National Office of Investigation chief Woo Jong Soo, warned the actor of the possible consequences he would face if he continued to dodge the hearing.

"It'd be better to arrange an attendance date as soon as possible. If it doesn't work, we'll have to apply for an arrest warrant," he explained at the press conference, as obtained by a news portal.

Following this, the actor's legal representative explained that Yoo Ah In has no intention to delay the investigation but has requested safety measures from the authorities, but were not granted by the police.

"Yoo Ah In wanted to participate in the investigation and asked the police to take possible measures, such as entering and exiting through a different route in accordance with the principle of private summons, but it was not accepted," as pointed out by the representative.

Since February of this year, the award-winning star has been facing controversy over his use of illegal substances.

After banning him from leaving the country while the investigation is ongoing, authorities charged him with violating drug control laws after he tested positive for four types of drugs.

Urine and hair strand tests showed that he is positive for marijuana, propofol, cocaine, and ketamine.

In addition, his medical records showed that Yoo Ah In was prescribed zolpidem, a type of drug used for severe cases of insomnia that is illegal to use without medical purpose. Besides the actor, doctors and a hospital also underwent an investigation for reportedly corroborating to the actor's illegal activities.

At one point, police cited that Doctor A, who prescribed Yoo Ah In propofol, would be facing a substantive arrest warrant.
