From his "good boy" image, Kim Seon Ho is set to showcase his diversity as an actor as he plays a mysterious character in the upcoming movie "The Childe."
Following the announcement of the film's premiere date, viewers are excited to see the South Korean hearthrob in a different light.
Helmed and written by Park Hoon Jung for "V.I.P.," "Night in Paradise," and "The Witch" parts 1 and 2, the forthcoming action drama film depicts the interesting story of a Filipino-Korean teenager who gets caught up in a chaotic incident.
'The Childe' Showcases Kim Seon Ho's Villain Character
Creating excitement for viewers, Kim Seon Ho's new movie "The Childe" is set to hit the big screen on June 21 with a total of almost two hours of running time.
According to ScreenDaily, the upcoming movie will also premiere in North America.
In addition, fans from Asian countries like Taiwan, Thailand, the Philippines, Singapore, Malaysia, Brunei, Indonesia, East Timor, Hong Kong, and Macau will get to see the action drama film.
'The Childe' Cast Dishes on Their Experience Filming the Movie
Besides "The Childe" being Kim Seon Ho's debut movie, this will also be rookie actor Kang Tae Joo's first big screen project.
As mentioned in a report, he was able to surpass 2,000 applicants for the role.
Meanwhile, as part of his preparation, he "practiced boxing with boxers who train for the national competition."
On the other hand, director Park Hoon Jung hints that "The Childe" will showcase a faster-paced storyline than his previous projects.
