'King the Land' Attains Impressive Rating, Beats 'Doctor Cha's' Record
Lee Junho and YoonA officially met the viewers with their first drama team-up through "King the Land." Thanks to fans who have been highly-anticipating the series, it immediately achieved an impressive record.
According to a news outlet on June 17, the new rom-com K-drama "King the Land" premiered with an average score of 5.1 percent nationwide.
YoonA and Lee Junho's series was also able to beat its predecessor, "Doctor Cha," which recorded 4.9 percent during its pilot episode.
Now that the series is off to a good start, many are looking forward to how the story of Gu Won and Cheon Sa Rang will unfold in the upcoming episodes.

Apart from "King the Land," tvN's new fantasy-romance series "See You in My 19th Life" also premiered on June 17. Starring Shin Hye Sun and Ahn Bo Hyun, the drama managed to score an average rating of 4.3 percent on its release.
The drama aired one hour earlier than "King the Land."
Meanwhile, the medical-romance series "Dr. Romantic 3" officially signed off and successfully achieved its highest viewership ratings of the entire season. Based on the data provided by Nielsen Korea, "Dr. Romantic 3" episode 16 scored an average score of 16.8 percent nationwide.
In addition, it was also the most-watched miniseries of Saturday as well as the most-watched program in its time slot.
"Dr. Romantic 3" finale earned the highest ratings of any program to air in the second week of June.
On the other hand, KBS2 TV's "The Real Has Come" featuring Ahn Jae Hyun and Baek Jin Hee continued its reign and recorded a viewership rating of 18.1 percent nationwide.
