Rookie actor Kang Tae Joo dishes on his role models in showbiz, which include "The Childe" co-star Kim Seon Ho and award-winning actress Bae Doona.
In an interview with local media outlets, the 28-year-old actor spoke about his experience filming his first movie and working alongside Kim Seon Ho.
Kang Tae Joo Thankful for Kim Seon Ho - Here's Why
As obtained by a news portal, Kang Tae Joo revealed how Kim Seon Ho is as his senior.
The newbie actor said that he "learned a lot" from the 37-year-old star and was happy to work alongside him in the movie.
"Senior Kim Seon Ho always showed leadership and wit in the field," he said, adding that he was able to learn a lot about communicating better and coming up with ideas as well as expressing his thoughts.
In addition, the "Start-Up" star is generous, providing him with advice and "making great efforts" to ease his nerves, especially during stage greetings.

Regarding his closeness with the top star, Kang Tae Joo said that he, Kim Seon Ho, as well as "The Childe" director Park Hoon Jung would often have their meals together and bond over food.
In the newly released movie depicts the story of an amateur boxer named Marco, who is born to a Filipino mother and a South Korean father. After spending most of his life in the Philippines, he moved to South Korea to find his father.
However, as he was about to set off on his journey, he met the mysterious nobleman played by Kim Seon Ho.
Apart from the duo, "The Childe" cast also includes Kim Kang Woo as director Han Yi Sa and Go Ah Ra as Yun Joo.
Kang Tae Joo Says He wants to Follow Bae Doona's Footsteps
Besides his "The Childe" co-star, Kang Tae Joo also expressed his great admiration for award-winning actress Bae Doona.
When asked about what kind of actor he wants to be, he said that he wants to experience acting overseas like his senior, Bae Doona.
"I want to be an actor who can act well and be trusted," he said, adding, "I like languages. I thought I wanted to try acting in English and Japanese."
To recall, Bae Doona is among a few South Korean stars who made their Hollywood debut.
She joined the cast of the 2012 movie "Cloud Atlas" by the Wachowskis and Tom Tykwer as well as the American fiction series "Sense8."
As for Kang Tae Joo, he began his career as a fashion model and eventually entered acting in 2020 with a bit part in "Missing: The Other Side."
While "The Childe" is his big screen debut, he also had his first lead role in Naver TV Cast's "Nara's Marvelous Days."
