'Revenant' Episode 5: Goo San Young Discovers Truth About Her Father

Amidst the new discovery about Goo San Young's (Kim Tae Ri) birth, Yeom Hae Sang (Oh Jung Se) learns that Jangseungs are wooden signs that used to mark destinations to travelers.

Because she is possessed, Goo San Young behaves differently even with her best friend. After she comes back to her senses, she runs away from the celebration.

Unbeknownst to her, Lee Hong Sae follows her. Goo San Young reaches the bridge and begs the evil spirit to stop coming for her.

Goo San Young Begs Spirits To Stop

At the end of the episode, Yeom Hae Sang visits Goo San Young's grandmother's place and looks for a spot where a rope is tied.

He finds an object that was buried in the dirt. At the same time he retrieves the item, the demon that possesses Goo San Young whispers to her ears, saying that she "found it," leaving her confused.
