Doh Kyungsoo shares heartwarming stories with his longtime celebrity friend, Jo In Sung.

Their friendship started after the EXO member joined the 2014 hit K-drama "It's Okay, That's Love," headlined by Jo In Sung and Gong Hyo Jin. Despite their 10-year age gap, they maintain their relationship, and remain close friends through the years.

During his interview ahead of his comeback movie "The Moon," Doh Kyungsoo mentioned Jo In Sung and his influence on his career.

Doh Kyungsoo Reveals How Jo In Sung Changed His Mindset About Dealing With Challenges

Being in the industry for over a decade, Doh Kyungsoo says he learned a lot, especially about dealing with his emotions, thoughts, and actions.

According to the singer-actor, he and Jo In Sung made a promise after learning that "Smugglers" has almost the same release date as "The Moon."

Doh Kyungsoo shared that he and the "Escape from Mogadishu" star would often text each other, and would often asked about each other's projects.

"We did say stuff like, 'How come both of our movies are set to be released around the same period?' Our hope is for both of our films to do well," the EXO member added.

Interestingly, Doh Kyungsoo revealed that he and Jo In Sung "promised to check out each other's movies and talk about them."

"Smugglers," which also stars Kim Hye Soo and Yum Jung Ah, officially premiered on July 26 and is currently topping the Korean box office.

Meanwhile, Doh Kyungsoo's movie "The Moon" is slated to debut on August 2.
