"The Killing Vote," which stars Lim Ji Yeon, Park Hae Jin, and Park Sung Woong, officially premiered, giving viewers the first taste of their thrilling journey.
Interestingly, during the drama's press conference, director Park Shin Woo shared how she came up with the casting lineup. Sharing some of the behind-the-scenes stories, "The Killing Vote" director talked about the casting process.

The new K-drama is Lim Ji Yeon's project after "The Glory" and "Lies Hidden in My Garden."
According to him, his female co-star had to memorize a lot of lines, and she nailed every single word.
"For many of the scenes, she had to give a detailed explanation to us, but she never once made a mistake," he added.
Park Sung Woong played the respected prisoner named Kwon Suk Joo in "The Killing Vote." He was imprisoned for taking revenge against the perpetrator who sexually assaulted his eight-year-old daughter.
On the other hand, "The Killing Vote" is the newest thriller-mystery series on SBS. It airs every Thursday at 9 p.m. KST.
Meanwhile, "The Killing Vote" episode 2 is set to air today, August 11, via SBS.
