When it comes to TV series, Kim Mi Kyung is surely one of the fan favorites of K-drama eomma as she often plays the mother role. Interestingly, this is also the reason she had the moniker of Korea's "national mother."

During her guest appearance in JTBC's TV show "Salty Pawn Shop," she spoke about her experience portraying the character and tdishes on her relatinship with the actresses and actors she worked with.

They were last spotted along with the cast of the series as they watched the "Crash Landing on You" musical to support Yoon Sa Bong, Lee Kyu Hyung, and Heo Gyu Nim.

Kim Mi Kyung Talks About Playing Mother Roles for Years

As a K-drama fan, you'll know it's going to be a good story when you see Kim Mi Kyung portraying a mother role.

However, during her interview with "Salty Pawn Shop," she shared that there's also a con to it.

According to the actress, she seemed to age a lot because of the characters she portrays.

Meanwhile, Cha Ji Yeon joked about being the same age as fellow celebrities like Yoo In Na, Han Ji Min, and Son Ye Jin, but in response, Kim Mi Kyung said, "I'm younger than Jun Ji Hyun, but I look older."

Her last K-drama appearance was in the medical comedy series "Doctor Cha" where she takes on major supporting character Oh Deok Rye, the loving mother of Cha Jung Sook, played by Uhm Jung Hwa.

She is set to return to the small screen with another mother role, this time Shin Hye Sun's on-screen mother in "Welcome to Samdalri."
