Song Joong Ki clarifies rumors regarding his audition for a BBC drama series back in December 2022.
Following the finale of his then-K-drama "Reborn Rich," rumors sparked that the actor is planning to work on various projects overseas, among this is a BBC series.
At the time, industry representatives cited that the South Korean top star had auditioned in the U.K. back in 2021. It was after he completed filming his K-drama "Vincenzo."
It can be recalled that Song Joong Ki's agency, HighZiumStudio, shut down rumors and clarified that the actor "did not audition for a BBC series." However, the top star "had a meeting with a representative" from the network.
Almost a year later, the "Arthdal Chronicles" star spills the tea regarding his audition.
Song Joong Ki Confirms Auditioning for BBC Series
In a report cited by a media outlet during the actor's interview with Ten Asia, Song Joong Ki revealed that he did an audition for the BBC.
"I participated in the BBC audition as part of a global project, and through that, my relationship with my wife Katie continued," he said.
Interestingly, after the movie made its debut at the 2023 Cannes Film Festival, it will officially hit the big screen on October 11.
