From the creators of "The Penthouse: War in Life," the 17-episode thriller-crime series depicts revenge following the death of a high school student named Bang Da Mi. With this, seven people are facing a mind-boggling fate, as the mysterious villain named K was behind it.
Following the show's fluctuating ratings, the SBS K-drama reached a new achievement. Despite the controversy, "The Escape of the Seven" episode 13 garnered an average nationwide rating of 7.2 percent.
With this, the makjang series reclaimed its spot, taking first place in its time slot across all channels.
In addition, this is also the drama's highest viewership for the month.

The 13th episode showcased a slew of significant revelations, especially with Matthew Lee's identity.
K learned about Kang Ki Tak and Lee Hwi Soo's plan at the prison when he heard about it. As a result, he made a grand plan and pretended to be Lee Hwi Soo.
In hopes of exposing Matthew Lee's or K's plan, he tried to get out of the dungeon. Here, he saw the real Lee Hwi Soo, locked up inside a cell.
Because of the dungeon's advanced technology, he couldn't find Hwi Soo's exact location. However, a strange thing happened, and he got out of the dungeon.
In addition, the real Lee Hwi Soo was spotted saving the unconscious Kang Ki Tak by the seaside.
Other than Matthew Lee's real identity, director Michelle revealed who she is to Han Mo Ne.
The celebrity was shocked to find out that Michelle is Song Ji A's older sister and is about to expose the truth about Han Mo Ne and her evil actions.
