Lee In's Truest Feelings

Lee In (Jo Jung Suk) and Kang Hee Soo (Shin Se Kyung_ spend the night passionately after the former discovers the latter's biggest secret.

It's revealed that the king protected Kang Mong Woo before he went missing. It turns out that he was completely heartbroken for three years, and would drink and play Go on his own.

Unbeknownst to Kang Hee Soo, Lee In has always been in love with her regardless of gender. Hearing the news about the past, the former understands that the king did it to protect her.

To somehow punish Kang Hee Soo, the principal director makes use of the Qing envoy, and escorts Yoo Hyung Bo (Yang Kyung Won) to escort her and learn what it's all about.

Will Lee In Marry Off the Young Princess?

Lee In only agrees if only the principal director gets the work done in three days. After this, Kang Hee Soo must be exiled from the dynasty.

The game begins with a tie, startling the public. Thankfully, Kang Hee Soo is saved. The Qing personnel ask Lee In to marry off the young Joseon princess to the other dynasty's prince.

If this doesn't happen, a war against the Qing dynasty will break out. The princess begs Lee In not to marry her off but because he's not in the position to decide, he couldn't do anything.

Meanwhile, Kang Hee Soo plans to substitute the princess with one of her maids who can go as a spy. The real princess successfully escapes. Sadly, the senior maids report that she's missing.

Kang Hee Soo's Plans Go To Waste

The principal director orders the palanquin to check the princess one last time. Kim Myung Ha (Lee Shin Young) learns about it and warns Kang Hee Soo who's now worried sick.

Later on, the maid disguising as the princess is asked to remove her veil. The principal director catches the substitute red handed, creating a tense atmosphere.

At Lee In's Go house, the principal director meets with the king. However, Kang Hee Soo stops him right at the moment and confesses her sins, ending the episode with an intense atmosphere.
