Excitement is through the roof for the new Netflix series "Parasyte: The Grey" as its first-ever poster was released on February 28.
The teaser poster features Jeon So Nee, one of the rising actresses in her generation. She transforms into an unlucky woman in the brand new show.
"Parasyte: The Grey" tells the stories of people after parasitic life-forms fall to Earth from outer space and attempt to gain power by living off human beings.
Jeon So Nee takes on the role of Jung Su In, a woman who becomes one of the hosts. However, it fails to take over her whole body, making it co-exist within her.
Seasoned actor Koo Kyo Hwan also stars in the work as Seol Kang Woo, a determined young man who goes on a journey to track down parasites in order to find his missing sister.
The poster that was unveiled depicts the strange parasitic life-forms that take over the world from outer space. The spores fall down on humans, penetrating their bodies which cause a huge, spine-chilling transformation.
In the center of the poster is Jung Su In whose face is transformed as one of the parasite's tentacles comes out inside of her, raising curiosity as to how the symbiosis of the parasites play out.
The text that reads "The parasites hidden among us" also doubles the anticipation. In particular, attention is focused on how Jung Su In survives as a human with a distinct abnormality.
