Haha's past remarks about celebrities' relationships resurfaced. With this, people hilariously commented that the comedian's dream came true.
Dating News Among Korean Celebs The New Normal?
From Hyeri - Ryu Jun Yeol - Han So Hee's saga, to Lee Jae Wook's confirmed relationship with aespa's Karina, more Korean stars are occupying the headlines with their rumored and confirmed dating news.
Amid all these dating news that appears almost every week on various portals, TV personality and Korean rapper Haha made a buzz after his past remarks about K-stars' relationships resurfaced online.
In one of the episodes of the entertainment-talk show "Flatterer Crusher" released in 2021, Haha, alongside Park Myung Soo and Joon Park, talked about the artists who have to go through a lot to protect their image.
During their conversation, Haha wished for one of the most chaotic yet big changes that could happen to the K-entertainment business' dating culture.
It started when Park Myung Soo mentioned g.o.d Joon Park's controversial past dating news, which the latter corrected that it was a real relationship and not a scandal.
Joon Park said, "It was not a scandal because I was seeing her."
As he went on mentioning the woman's name, Park Myung Soo interrupted and asked if it was okay to say it in public.
Joon Park then responded, "Why not? It is not like dating is a crime. I didn't want to hide our relationship back then. Men and women dating is the most natural thing to happen."
Haha then chimed in and agreed to what Joon Park said. He wished for K-Stars, specifically idols, to be free in pursuing romantic relationships.
Haha's Wish Of Freeing K-Stars To Admit Their Relationship In Public 'Comes True'
"I wish all the idols who are dating right now would talk to their agencies. And all of them reveal their relationships, all at once. Like, the press would not know how to pick what to cover. And I know there are a lot of couples out there. So the management companies would pick a date and time. Soon, every single relationship would go public."
The "Running Man" host continued, "Once a couple breaks up, the agencies would wait until about 50 breakups are lined up to be revealed. And then all of the breakups would go public all at once, too."
After seeing this, netizens believed that Haha's dream finally came true and shared their comments about the celebrities' romantic relationships.
- "That would be so entertaining, Lol."
- "I think the same thing whenever there's dating news. It's hilarious."
- "I would be down for that. After all the dating scandals back-to-back the past week. The latest one doesn't even bother me now. You grow used to it."
- "Yes. It's unfair how some couples are exposed while others are not. It would be fair to have all of the couples go public at once."
