Kang Ha Neul To Lead Netflix Production '84 Square Meter'
On April 4, Star News reported that Kang Ha Neul was selected to headline the upcoming film "84 Square Meter."
According to the report, the film also cast Yeom Hye Ran and Seo Hyun Woo, and it will depict the story of people and the noise pollution that they experience inside an apartment building.
At the moment, there's no confirmation whether Kang Ha Neul accepted the offer. However, he will transform into a young tenant in the apartment building once he sends a go signal.
It will also mark the reunion of Kang Ha Neul and Yeom Hye Ran who worked together in "When the Camellia Blooms" in 2019, which left an impactful impression on the viewers.
Meanwhile, Yeom Hye Ran will play an apartment representative while Seo Hyun Woo will portray a reporter who lives in the same building as them.
Attention is given to the brand new Netflix production and to Kang Ha Neul who's among the most sought-after actors in the Hallyu scene today.
'84 Square Meter' Further Details & More
The reports shared that "84 Square Meter" will be helmed by Kim Tae Jun, the director of the 2023 thriller film "Unlocked" starring Im Siwan and Chun Woo Hee.
With this, expectations for the film are doubled. Specific details about the project are still kept under wraps but filming is said to begin in the first half of 2024.
