Chun Woo Hee responds to the viral video of her delivering a heartfelt speech for her longtime fan.

In an interview, "The 8 Show" star shared the story behind it and why she decided to surprise her fan with an unexpected congratulatory speech.

As the Netflix series garnered the attention of global viewers, netizens were drawn to Chun Woo Hee's special treat for her fan during her wedding.

In a report by SPOTV NEWS, the actress was spotted attending her longtime fan's weddingceremony,y where she also gave a congratulatory speech for the newlyweds.

"We've known each other for 13 years, me as an actor and her as a fan," she said, appearing teary eyed as she read her message.

Interestingly, Chun Woo Hee shared the story behind her relationship with her fan, whom she has known for years.

In a separate interview, she wanted to give back and thought about surprising her with a part in her wedding.

"I've known my fan for about 13 years. When I was getting married, I always wanted to give her something because I always received it. Fortunately, the schedule did not overlap because the filming was almost over."

Moreover, Chun Woo Hee revealed that she was "very nervous" at the time since it was her first time to go to her fan's wedding.

The 37-year-old actress recently reached her heyday after joining the cast of "The 8 Show" along with Ryu Jun Yeol, Lee Joo Young, Bae Sung Woo, Park Hae Joon, Lee Yeol Eum, and Moon Jung Hee.

In the Netflix series, she played the villain role of Song Se Ra, a.k.a. the 8th floor.

Interestingly, Chun Woo Hee, showcased her versatility as an actress, as she is currently starring in TVN's drama "Atypical Family."

With this, she was praised by "The 8 Show" director for her ability to portray diverse characters.

In one interview, director Han Jae Rim called Chun Woo Hee as "Korea's Emma Stone" for being able to pull off two contradicting characters at the same time.

"I like it so much, and sometimes I hear people say we look alike," she said, after hearing the new nickname that the director gave her.

Chun Woo Hee also mentioned her favorite Emma Stone movie, which is "La La Land."

"I like it because, as an actor, I have a wide range of acting skills. The director said that, so I said, 'I have to work hard. I thought, 'I have to do it.'"

Besides "Atypical Family" and "The 8 Show," Chun Woo Hee also starred in "Delightfully Deceitful," "Be Melodramatic," and more.
