Renowned South Korean reporter Beck Una surprised viewers with an unexpected story about Yoo Seung Ho when he was a child actor.

During her appearance in "You Quiz on the Block," host Yoo Jae Suk got curious and asked how many interviews Beck Una had in her career.

She said that she has "never really kept track" but estimated around two thousand actors throughout her 25 years as a media reporter.

When asked about her most memorable interview, Beck Una mentioned her encounter with the young Yoo Seung Ho.

As part of her job, Beck Una also did interviews with child stars, and one of the most unforgettable for her was with Yoo Seung Ho when he was young.

Before being one of the rising stars of K-dramas of his generation, he started out as a child actor, portraying young versions of lead stars like Go Joo Won in "The King and I" and Bae Yong Joon in "The Legend."

However, for Beck Una, the interview became remarkable when young Yoo Seung Ho refused to speak.

According to her, he was only 10 at the time and was shooting for the 2002 film "'The Way Home."

"He walked into the studio for the interview, and by God, he was adorable," the veteran reporter recalled.

However, his mood changed when he realized that he would be doing a photoshoot.

"As Yoo Seung Ho stepped into the studio, he realized there would be a photo session for the interview when his mother told him otherwise. He got into a bad mood and stayed still without answering questions."

As a professional, Beck Una tried to comfort the child actor, and Yoo Seung Ho slowly eased up around the reporter.

"He gave me a candy a little while later. As I crunched it with my teeth, he mumbled, 'It tastes better when you let that melt in your mouth.', and finally started talking."

According to the reporter, what prompted the 10-year-old Yoo Seung Ho to act moody because of his school activity.

Beck Una recalled that the child star revealed that he was "feeling a bit down because of something that happened at school today."

"He was so adorable that I wanted to carry him in my pocket," the veteran reporter added.

After several years of being in the industry, Yoo Seung Ho has made a name for himself by showcasing his versatility as an actor.

He appeared in the 2021 K-drama "Moonshine," followed by "The Deal" in 2023.

Interestingly, he will have his K-drama comeback through the upcoming family drama "I'm Home."
