'The Player 2: Master of Swindlers' Episode 1: Kang Ha Ri Forms New Team To Start His Revenge for Cha Ah Ryeong's Death

tvN's newest action-crime drama finally premiered and surprised the viewers with its thrilling pilot episode.

The players were depicted as their teammate Cha Ah Ryeong (Krystal Jung) was killed by the villain they thought they had killed. To make matters worse, they became wanted criminals.

As they were preparing to take Ah Ryeong's revenge, her younger sister, Cha Je Yi (Jang Gyu Ri), appeared in front of them and joined as a new driver after Kang Ha Ri's dissuasion.

Accordingly, Kang Ha Ri formed a team again and returned as a player and started to empty the pockets of the villains and implement justice.

Kang Ha Ri Meets Jung Soo Min, Kang Do Young

Out of the blue, Ha Ri received an invitation from Thailand. There, he met a mysterious woman, Jung Soo Min (Oh Yeon Seo), and entered the center of a huge event.

Kang Ha Ri sensed that the person who invited him was Soo Min, and she invited the crooks to a party hosted by Kang Do Young (Tae In Ho), the mastermind of the NFT fraud case.

At the party that Soo Min went to after hearing the information she had leaked, Shin Woo Young, who lost his beloved wife due to Kang Doo Young's fraud, appeared and started a rampage.

However, the situation seemed to be going in his favor as Kang Ha Ri, who desperately prevented this, was lucky to be able to approach Kang Do Young.

Jung Soo Min Betrays Kang Ha Ri

Kang Ha Ri tried to gain Do Young's trust and betrayed him by escorting Lim Byeong Min (Lee Si Eon) as a money laundering expert, who faced a crisis when he ran into an unexpected variable.

Kang Do Young realized that it was all a lie.

Moreover, Jung Soo Min met Kang Ha Ri and Lim Byeong Min and was surrounded by her subordinates.

Soo Min betrayed Ha Ri after she revealed the two's identity to Do Young. Kang Ha Ri was shocked by the sudden turn of events and was angry with Jung Soo Min's betrayal.

Attention is now focused on how Kang Ha Ri will be able to overcome this trap in order to continue his revenge.
