According to report, Kim Yoo Jung has been offered to play the lead role in "Dear X," a popular webtoon about a celebrity.
As mentioned by Kim Yoo Jung's agency, Awesome ENT, "Dear X" is one of the works that she is currently in talks to appear in.
If she officially accepts the offer, the 24-year-old beauty will take on the character of the protagonist, Baek Ah Jin, who is also the main villain. She is a popular actress with antisocial personality disorder.
In the webtoon, Baek Ah Jin is depicted as a celebrity who is at the top of her game and seems to have everything. Besides her head-turning beauty, she is also an award-winning actress and someone who is beloved by the public.
However, as soon as she is set to announce her upcoming marriage, a news program exposes the dark truth about her.

In 2020, "Dear X" writer Ban Ji Woon confirmed on his blog that he had completed the copyright contract for the webtoon-based series. In addition to this, his work "Fantasy Sonata" will also be produced as a K-drama.
As for the people working on the "Dear X" series, director Yoo Ha of "Pipeline" was initially offered to direct the series but was now offered to director Lee Eung Bok, of "Dream High," "School 2013," "Descendants of the Sun," "Goblin," and more, adding that he is currently considering directing.
Adding to the list is writer Choi Ja Won, who will be in charge of the screenplay.
Meanwhile, "Dear X" will be Kim Yoo Jung's next work after the fantasy comedy "Chicken Nugget."
