'Miss Night and Day' Episode 8 Recap: Gye Ji Ung Looks Into Baek Cheol Gyu's Real Identity
In "Miss Night and Day" Episode 8, Ko Won helped Lee Mi Jin escape the scene as people might discover who she really is. However, he was interrupted by Prosecutor Gye, who thought Ko Won would abduct Mi Jin, who was still unconscious.
At the hospital, the doctor told Gye Ji Ung that they found traces of an antidepressant drug on her body and that she needed to undergo more tests.
As for Ko Won, he told his manager that Lee Mi Jin accidentally drank his drink spiked with an antidepressant drug, causing her to lose consciousness.
Lee Mi Jin politely refused Gye Ji Ung's offer to take her home and instead met Ko Won at the parking lot to talk about how he discovered her secret.
According to him, he had been watching Lim Sun and witnessed how she would transform into Lee Mi Jin, but he promised her that he would keep her secret.
One of the significant scenes in "Miss Night and Day" Episode 8 is about the connection between the disappearance of Gye Ji Ung's mother and the real Lim Sun and the present case of missing persons.
As Lim Sun arrived at work, she noticed that the woman, who was protesting in front of the office, almost fainted. She invited her to come in and let her rest for a bit.
Lim Sun then found out that the father of the woman was her former colleague, who was replaced from work after he did not show up for weeks.
Meanwhile, Gye Ji Ung began to suspect Baek Cheol Gyu, who used to be a director at the local hospital. It was after he noticed that he was driving a familiar plate, which he recognized during the murder scene at the fields.
In the last scene, Lee Mi Jin went to Gye Ji Ung's apartment to look into the case after seeing her name on the missing list. Despite being too drunk to function, she was relieved that the name says "Lim Suk."
However, Gye Ji Ung was shocked after Mi Jin gave him a kiss.
