‘The Player 2: Master of Swindlers’ Episode 12: Did the Players Succeed in Their Last Mission?

With the goal of catching Jeffrey Jung, Kang Ha Ri (Song Seung Heon) and the players made a last push to take down the villain in "The Player 2: Master of Swindlers" Episode 12.

'The Player 2: Master of Swindlers' Episode 12: Jeffrey Jung Fails With His Plan Against the Players

Episode 12 started with Kang Ha Ri and President Choi Sang Ho admitting to the charges, revealing that the bombing and illegal slush fund cases they were involved in were masterminded by Jeffrey Jung. 

Jung had created a plan to trap them, but he turned the tables by using it to create a scandal for him.

Jeffrey tried to eliminate Choi Sang Ho, to expose his past activities, so he lured Choi Sang Ho by kidnapping Jung So Min (Oh Yeon Seo). Hwang In Sik (Lee Jun Hyeok) and Kang Ha Ri were fighting for their lives while rescuing So Min and Sang Ho. Eventually, they're able to save them, while the players chase Jeffrey who was trying to escape.

Did Jeffrey Jung Die?

In addition, prosecutor Kwak Do Soo and Shin Woo Young appeared as mercenaries and bolstered the players' fighting power. After a fierce fight, they succeeded in catching Jeffrey and his gang. 

Cha Je Yi tried to shoot Jeffrey Jung, who killed her sister, but she put the gun away, hoping that he would pay for his crimes without fail.

Jeffrey Jung was imprisoned but was murdered by a woman who visited him, and Kang Ha Ri gathered the players when he heard the news. 

The Players' Reunion Marks Their Successful Journey

Jung So Min, who was working as a lawyer, Lim Byeong Min as a webtoon writer, Do Jin Woong, who took care of children at church, and Cha Je Yi who was the manager of N-Tri member Hwi Woong, a high school classmate she met at KU Enter, all gathered together at Kang Ha Ri's call.

Their reunion brought smiles on each other's faces. Them being complete again as a team after having perfectly accomplished everything from implementing justice to revenge, brought satisfaction.

"The Player 2: Master of Swindlers" has provided a wealth of entertainment with unpredictable developments that keep viewers on the edge of their seats until the finale episode.

Above all, the synergy of the actors who flawlessly portrayed their characters also shined. The actors' passionate performances, such as Song Seung Heon, Oh Yeon Seo, Lee Si Eon, Tae Won Seok, and Jang Gyu Ri, showed fantastic chemistry.
