Jung Young Joo Spills Tea on Byeon Woo Seok, Kim Hye Yoon's Chemistry: 'He Gazes at Her With...'
Actress Jung Young Joo made a captivating appearance on MBC's 'Radio Star' on July 10, where she shared intriguing insights about her experience working with Byeon Woo-seok and Kim Hye Yoon in the popular tvN drama 'Lovely Runner'.

In the drama, Kim Hye Yoon and Byeon Woo-seok played the roles of 'Im Sol' and 'Ryu Sun-jae' respectively, embodying a romantic relationship that captured the hearts of many viewers.
Jung Young Joo, who portrayed 'Park Bok-soon', 'Im Sol's mother, discussed the overwhelming response from fans, particularly regarding the on-screen chemistry between the lead actors.
"The drama's fans flooded my social media with comments speculating whether Kim Hye Yoon and Byeon Woo-seok were dating in real life. There were numerous pleas for them to get married and even requests for grandchildren. It's been quite wild. So many people asked if they were dating, reminiscent of the speculation surrounding Kim Soo Hyun and Kim Ji Won after 'Queen of Tears'."

Reflecting on her interactions with Byeon Woo-seok during filming, Jung Young Joo shared a touching anecdote about offering advice to enhance the authenticity of his romantic scenes with Kim Hye Yoon.
"At first, he seemed a bit shy about expressing romantic feelings. I encouraged him to be genuine and let his expressive eyes do the talking. After that, their on-screen chemistry truly blossomed."

When asked about her personal thoughts on the duo's potential off-screen romance, Jung Young Joo expressed her support, saying, "I rooted for them just like many 'Lovely Runner' fans. Byeon Woo-seok once mentioned that he liked short, sensible women, which perfectly describes Kim Hye Yoon. Whenever they were together on set, I couldn't help but suggest they give dating a serious thought."
Responding to questions about their behavior off-camera, Jung Young Joo observed, "While they remained professional, I could sense a genuine fondness between them, especially when they were in character as 'Im Sol' and 'Ryu Sun-jae'. They genuinely cared for each other's well-being."
