Tragic Ending For 'Love Next Door'? Fans Point Out 4 Tell-Tale Signs Seok Ryu is Sick and Dying

K-drama fans are abuzz with fear that the beloved character Bae Seok Ryu may be suffering from an illness, and worse, she may be dying. 

Fans started speculating after seeing a series of hints in the past few episodes that all indicate the possibility of a tragic ending.

In the last episode, the fans noted that Seok Ryu's nose was bleeding, which K-drama fans usually associate with terminal diseases.In addition to that, Seok Ryu avoided alcohol at the gathering and instead opted for juice, which is uncommon with her character.

For example, Choi Seung Hyo, her love interest, also mentioned that all her food was green. This got many fans wondering whether she could be suffering from a disease that only allows her to take a natural diet.

Most fans also noted the scene in the first episode whereby Seung stated that he wanted to design a memorial park.

Although fans are eagerly waiting for the scenes that follow, they expressed mixed reactions on social media regarding the past episodes.Many expressed their feelings timidly, as indicated by the responses below:

This is a romcom. I can't see it ending sad o n," said Elle Unnie finally speaking out her thoughts.

Hopefully, we will get a Queen of Tears ending," said Sayma Binta Sultan.

"How can this possibly end as a sad ending if it's a romcom? This isn't a melodrama," said Rubs Rubejes in a bid to calm the overthinkers.

"That's being paranoid you guys! Trust me, this will have a happy ending. I trust the writer," commented Phy Za.

"Ok, but even Queen of Tears had a happy ending. I wish I could stop being paranoid," said Mary Kath expressing her fear.

"The overthinking is REAL!!" commented Florence Llemes-Monte.

 "Yes, and thi s is how t hey will end. All their memories will be placed in the m morial park," said Odessa Cecilia Sales-Saret.

However, fans can only wait for the upcoming episodes to confirm more about Seok Ryu's fate.
