Lunch Break Recap: 'Love Next Door' Episodes 7 and 8

Episode seven of 'Love Next Door' begins with Jung So Min's ex fiancé arriving. Her mother secretly wants her to get back together with her ex, while she deals with a surprising love confession from Jung Hae In. However, Jung So Min's father opposes the mother's wishes.
Supporting actors are fleshing out their stories, as well. Yoon Ji On's daughter Shim Ji Yoo is impressed by Kim Ji Eun's bravery as a paramedic, and she falls madly in love. However, Kim Ji Eun's romantic type is actually Yoon Ji On.

Episode eight informs viewers that Jung So Min developed feelings for Jung Hae In when they were still in school. His affections are returned, and she may have even loved him first. Nonetheless, Jung So Min doesn't disclose her feelings right away. She asked for time to respond to Jung Hae In's love confession. In the meantime, she goes against her parent's wishes and pursues her dream of being a chef. It's also revealed that Jung So Min's character had stomach cancer in the past, and her symptoms have returned.
'Love Next Door' airs every Saturday and Sunday at 9:20PM KST on tvN. The global audience can stream it on Netflix.
