The 52-year-old Taiwanese actress Fan Rui Jun has shocked fans by revealing that she was taken to the emergency room due to a caffeine-related problem.
Fan shared the news in a post on Sunday, as reported by TV Report, "I went to a baby store on my way home after I stopped by at the emergency," she said.
She went on to say that she forgot she had already had "one cup of coffee in the morning" during an "an amusement day." After she got home, she had "a second cup of coffee.'"
Soon after she consumed the second cup, Fan started feeling "uneasy." She added: "my heart raced and felt like it was going to jump out of my throat."
Concerned about her own safety on the road, Fan stopped at the first store she saw, which was the baby store.
She was helped and assisted by the "very pleasant and helpful" staff. One of the employees even took her in a wheelchair to the trailer room at the medical center.
After the hospital staff examined her, they found that the actress was suffering from hyperventilation.
Fan told her social media followers that tests were run on her and she was cleaned up intricately.
She thanked the emergency crew of the Makali King Carthay Hospital. She said: "Never knew there's an I.V. for breathing. I am so much better now, Thank you, everyone!"
Fan also thanked the people who had called her to ask about her condition. The actress even requested milk tea from most of them.
Tweeting about the scenario later on, Fan said: "It was the most expensive free coffee I've ever had."
