'Love Next Door' Recap Episode 13: Jung So Min Plans to Leave The Country

Episode 13 begins with the main couple waking up after a romantic night in Jung Hae In's house. When his parents return, they pretend they are innocently reading comics. Despite Jung Hae In's desire to reveal their relationship, Jung So Min convinces him to keep it a secret. They continue to spend quality time alone together.
The second couple is still distant, with Yoon Ji On refusing to allow Kim Ji Eun anywhere near his daughter.
Those around the main couple start getting suspicious of their relationship. Jung Hae In gives Jung So Min a bouquet of flowers after she took her cooking exam. Jung So Min's younger brother gets caught up in a social media scandal when rumors about him selling spoiled protein powder began spreading online. The family confronts him, and he admits to feeling inferior to his older sister. She reassures him that they are equal.

Kim Ji Eun tries to mend their relationship but is consistently rejected by Yoon Ji On. Jung So Min successfully passes her cooking certification exam and is congratulated by Jung Hae In.
While paying respects to a deceased senior, Kim Ji Eun sees Yoon Ji On and his daughter paying respect to their own deceased loved one. She realizes that she's his niece and not his daughter.
The young girl is the sole survivor of her family's car crash. They moved from their old neighborhood after a terrible rumor started spreading, and he assumed the role of her father ever since. Nonetheless, Yoon Ji On refuses to allow Kim Ji Eun back into their lives. After winning another award, Jung Hae In is excited about inviting Jung So Min to a celebration event. However, her discouragement from job rejection keeps her from accepting any invitations. He decides not to attend the event either.
Jung So Min's brother rights his wrongs and returns to work at the gym. Jung So Min discovers that her impressive resume may be keeping her from landing an entry-level job. Jung Hae In discovers Jung So Min's brochures for culinary schools overseas. Unable to explain her job rejections, she demands he give her space.
Yoon Ji On confesses his feelings for Kim Ji Eun in front of her mother after he brings her home from drinking alone.
The main couple remains distant as Jung Hae In breaks his arm at a construction site. Jung So Min rushes to his side, and all is forgiven.
