Contestants of one of the most-watched shows in the world, Culinary Class Wars on Netflix, are reporting that they had been subject to a wave of malicious comments online.

The increasing cyberbullying activity of people has sparked concerns, as the causes of such action remain unclear.

Chef Seonkyoung Longest, a well-known YouTuber with over 2.21 million subscribers, took her frustration to social media after thousands of hate comments on her channel.

"This isn't even one-thousandth of the comments I've received," she said, showing even more screenshots of the hateful and abusive words towards her.

Seonkyoung Longest has become widely known after gaining recognition in an international survival cooking competition in the United States.

However, throughout the Culinary Class Wars show, Seonkyoung Longest was criticized for a lack of teamwork and communication. The hate comments on the Internet increased even further after the conflict with another show contestant - Choi Kang-rok. "I never imagined I would be cyberbullied by Koreans, but it is happening now", Seonkyoung added.

Seonkyoung is not the only contestant affected by the wave of online hate activity. Chef Jung Ji-sun reported that she is subject to "a deluge of absurd claims," referring to the information about her dishes in the show and pointing out the situation when people strike up arguments that the famous show cleaned up the dishes from the dust.

Also, Chef "Triple Star" was faced with a wave of online comments after he showed preference for Chef Ahn Sung-Jae over Baek Jong-won in the judging. However, Chef "Triple Star" received a negative reaction from the viewers, who called the comment "carelessly meticulous," sparking even more online hatred.

The show's latest episode saw the team Captain, Ahn You-Seong, eliminated from the show, spreading even more hate toward the team leader, Chef Choi Hyun-Seok.

The final episode airs on October 8th.
