9ATO Entertainment, the agency of Han So Hee, has refuted the claims that the actress was reportedly engaging in malicious activities with a burner Instagram account used to troll fellow actress Hyeri.

The scandal erupted upon users' exposure of a highly suspicious Instagram account followed by Jeon Jong Seo, Han's close friend.

Notably, the profile included a display picture previously posted by the actress.

While the company's initial statement contained no indication that explained there was no truth to the rumors, 9ATO published another announcement, drawing different attention and consisting of a striking final sentence: "If it turns out to be true, we may be subject to legal responsibility."

The newly added wording attracted attention from provoked users in the Korean online community forum, theqoo, indicating that "If it isn't true," could imply any possibility of the account belonging to Han So Hee. According to one similar comment, "Their wording is so weird."

The situation inspired a heated online argument that was further fanned due to Han's previous association with rumors regarding her relationship with Hyeri and their crush on actor Ryu Jun Yeol.

At the same time, not all social media users would accept the rumors and voiced their willingness to believe the company's statement.

The circumstances and the latest Instagram post influenced the public perception and made Han So Hee's image a topic for further discussions and speculation.
