A stepping stone to future stardom, Seomun Girls' High School has given the world some of the best celebrities South Korea has to offer.

Three of these notable female graduates whose beauty and fierce competition made headlines well before -- and long after -- high school are at the top of this list.

Lee Hyori

Lee Hyori, a former member of the iconic girl group Fin. KL is arguably Seomun Girls' High School's most famous graduate.

Even as a teen, she received a lot of attention for her appearance and personality. Former classmates remember her as the kind of girl who attracted stares from boys from nearby schools, rushing over to catch a glimpse of the girl at the bus stop.

Lee Hyori played a rebellious character so well in her teenage years as well; she told her homeroom teacher, "If you're going to hit me, please hit me where it won't be visible."

Park Si Eun

Joining Lee Hyori at Seomun was Park Si Eun, who looked cute and beautiful as always. Polls among male students at the school consistently found Park to be the most popular girl, and she also had strings of suitors clamoring for her attention.

As Park recalls fondly her friendship with Lee Hyori, she noted, "A boy who chased me was a friend of Lee's."

Han Ji Min and Lee So Eun

Adding to the mix of talent at Seomun were Han Ji Min and Lee So Eun, who were celebrated for their beauty and talent during their school years.
