Choi Jung Won is currently under suspicion of infidelity following a ruling over his divorce that drew considerable public interest and controversy due to the status of the parties involved — the actor was formerly a part of the male duo UN.

Xports News reported that the Seoul Family Court ruled that A, the plaintiff in the divorce case, was chiefly responsible for the marriage's collapse because A had committed adultery.

It was also found that A had deceived B about her whereabouts several times while meeting Choi Jung Won in Seoul, including Cheongdam and Gangnam districts.

After the court decision, B told the news outlet that 11 new potential victims who Choi Jung Won allegedly hurt reached out to him. He stated, "My wife is one of them," suggesting that those individuals may have had inappropriate relationships with the actor.

B claimed that Choi Jung Won had confessed to suffering from social phobia and panic disorder earlier but said such an initial statement was contradictory, as he had been seen in public and associating with other women several times.

Choi Jung Won has denied all allegations of misconduct in a statement from her legal representative, claiming that the allegations of inappropriate relationships are "groundless."

Choi's lawyers noted that B has already been convicted of defaming Choi in a separate criminal proceeding.

They have said they plan to take further legal action against the spreaders of what they call "fake news."

A is in the process of appealing the court's decision on her divorce from B. Though the court recognized the adultery between A, B, and Choi Jung Won, the focus has shifted to whether the actor must pay damages at all.
