According to the recent controversy, the show's producer was in charge of producing "Love Scout" drama Ham Jun Ho, whose past controversy was regarding assault and defamation.

Exports News on January 13 reported that the show's production team has confirmed that Ham was sued in 2020 for cases of assault and defamation under the influence.

During the incident, they clarified that he had already "sincerely apologized" to the victims and settled after his victims' generosity.

After learning of the unfavorable news, the production team exiled him from his position, casting him out, and he did not direct for three years.

These days, the public has been paying attention since the MBC newsdesk's 2020 report appeared online.

Even though no name was mentioned, recurringly blurred photos were released, and the netizens were linking the images together.

In the report, it stated that SBS producer "A" was arrested in Hannam for indiscriminately pouring soju on the street, surrounding pedestrians, and police who were suspicious of unconditionally attacking people.

The police who sought his arrest said there was a criminal record, but the court dismissed it.

The production team explained that the record was irrelevant before being charged with the same incident.

The controversy, plus a fall-off in storyline allure (as evidenced by the show's most recent episode), could cause "Love Scout" to lose viewers' interest despite the strong ratings it initially pulled.

This leaves fans questioning how such a move will affect the success of the show going forward.
