Korean Actor Kim Min Seok, known for his role in Mr. Plankton, and Melomance singer Kim Minseok are now being criticized after they interacted with an Instagram account that is heavily criticized for sexualizing female K-pop idols.
The account, @idol.sojang, features over 700 posts deemed sexual in nature, often involving polls that pit female idols against each other with slow-motion videos of them in revealing outfits.
Screenshots showing both celebrities' interactions with the account have circulated widely, sparking outrage among fans.
It seems that the Instagram account @m_l_i_j_201, which belongs to vocalist Kim Minseok, was mentioned in a poll about K-pop idol Kwon Eunbi.
On the other hand, there was also a comment by actor Kim Min Seok on a video of Kwon Eunbi's past stage.
People have been quick to voice their frustration on social media platform X, with some posting directly to the celebrities' Instagram accounts and others taking action against the controversial account.
Others have also reported sojang to the authorities in the hope that it would be deleted.
"This is sexual harassment they need to be made to understand the behavior is gross," commented one user on X.
