Actor Lee Yi-Kyung revealed that he is currently in debt of up to 500 million won (over $342,000) after falling victim to an investment scam.

On a recent episode of the STORY's show10 Billion Won Breakfast, Lee spoke candidly about where he stands, financially.

The episode aired on February 27. It featured Lee interacting with host Oh Eun-young and guests about their current morning routines and personal experiences.

During the show, Oh said, "Having even 10 million won worth of debt feels heavy. Your first instinct is, 'Am I going to be able to get over this? Ten billion won is a huge amount.'"

Answering Oh's questions about his debts, Lee revealed, "I have a 500 million krw loan at the moment. It's suffocating me."

When Lee was asked why he had acquired so much debt for such a successful man, the actor responded, "You know how they call conmen the blowflies? I made an impulsive financial decision and went as far as to get a loan. Just the annual interest is 2 million won a month; it's driving me crazy."
