Kelly Osbourne and fiancé Matthew Mosshart have split and called off their engagement. The E! Fashion Police host and the vegan chef have officially called it quits, announcing the breakup through US Weekly via Osbourne's representative. The statement said, "Kelly Osbourne and Matthew Mosshart have decided to end their engagement. The split is amicable and the pair continue to have nothing but the utmost respect for one another. Kelly is looking forward to a new year full of fresh beginnings. No further comments will be provided by all parties and we request privacy, decorum and space from the press but don't expect it."

Osbourne, who is very active in social media, has been silent about the issue. Only one tweet gives any clue to what is going on in her mind. It said, "Its all about perception sometimes the bad things that happen in life aren't really bad at all especially when you learn something from it!"

The announcement was definitely unexpected. Her mother, X Factor judge Sharon Osbourne just revealed in December that her daughter will have a very English and Victorian wedding at the Osbourne family home in Buckinghamshire.

Osbourne and Mosshart met in 2011 at common friend Kate Moss' summer wedding. They officially announced that they were dating in December of that year and then became engaged in July 2013. Mosshart proposed to Osbourne during a holiday in Anguilla. Osbourne didn't make an elaborate announcement via social media then either. She simply posted a photo of her engagement ring while showing off a manicure that she had with her dad - rock legend Ozzy Osbourne.

The style maven seems to be focused on her career at the moment. She was just named one of Forbes magazine's 30 Under 30 Hollywood list, cementing her status as one of Hollywood's most influential people. She appeared on the list alongside actresses Olivia Wilde and Jennifer Lawrence and writer-slash-actresses Lena Dunham and Rebel Wilson.
