Actress Ko Ah Ra became a superstar after her role as Sung Na Jung in "Reply 1994." From a doll-like pretty actress, she became a real actress. Actress Ko Ah Ra in an interview was just like Sung Na Jung in the cable channel tvN's recently ended Friday Saturday drama "Reply 1994." She was cheerful and honest, unlike most of the other actresses.

"I will never be able to get rid of Sung Na Jung in my head. I will watch 'Reply 1994' multiple times," Ko Ah Ra said, expressing her love and affection for the drama and the character.

Ko Ah Ra added that she had to research a lot about the 1990s in Seoul and the regional dialect.

"(Although I am originally from Jin Joo,) I forgot most of the regional dialect. I stopped using dialect when I came to Seoul. I think it is harder than a foreign language (laughs). I found the feel for it while filming the drama, practicing with Jung Woo," she said, adding that she also studied the basketball news of the year 1994 to successfully perform her role as a basketball fan.

Regarding the love story of "Reply 1994," Ko Ah Ra said she speculated that she would end up marring Sseu Re Ki.

"I sort of knew that I would end up marring Sseu Re Ki. Chil Bong Yi is hot. Although Na Jung could have contemplated between the two, I think Na Jung wanted the tingling feeling of the first love more," she said.
