"You Who Came From The Stars" held first place again this week with ratings of 24.5 percent, just slightly under its top rating of 24.6 percent.
In the drama's soundtrack, Lyn sings the song "You Are My Destiny" and it's obvious that the two main characters are meant to be together. But that doesn't mean it's going to be easy or even possible. As he has another planet to return to, he does not want to confess what he really feels for the woman his fate is so obviously entwined with.
Chun Song Yi, played by Jun Ji Hyun, has already confessed that she likes her alien neighbor Do Min Joon, played by Kim Soo Hyun. But he did not respond to her confession. She's confused by the fact that he does not like her. She follows him on a fishing trip, hoping to get an answer out of him. But he's learned that it's not a good idea to become involved with humans and tells her he wants her to go away. She can tell that he is lying, which he is.
But viewers know that Do Min Joon won't be able to stay away from Chun Song Yi as her life is still in danger. He will continue to risk his wellbeing and risk exposing his true identity to save her.
"Inspiring Generation" held on to second place for its second week. The ratings improved from 7.7 percent to 9.6. Not bad since the adult actors playing the main characters have not yet been seen. However, the drama's dueling themes of love and revenge have already been set in motion. The young Jung Tae, played by Kwak Dong Yeon kissed the young Gaya, played by Joo Da Yung and she did not push him away. However their love will not be simple. Gaya's father is killed and she thinks that Jung Tae's father did it. Her desire for revenge will complicate their relationship.
"Miss Korea" earned 7.1 percent of the viewers this week, which is admirable considering the stiff competition. Lee Yeon Hee is now in beauty pageant camp, learning the basic skills of beauty pageant contestants and it's harder than it looks, especially since the competition is so fiercely competitive. Still, Lee Sun Gyun is there to support and encourage her, even if it means diving into a swimming pool to rescue her. Will she win the title? Stay tuned.
