Warner Bros. Games Montreal has confirmed that they are more focused on working on more story DLC for "Batman: Arkham Origins" and it currently has no plans to release another patch to address game breaking bugs that WB Games Montreal is aware of.
"The team is currently working hard on the upcoming story DLC and there currently are no plans for releasing another patch to address the issues that have been reported on the forums," a community manager said in a post on the game's official forums.
"Batman: Arkham Origins" have been plagued with numerous minor bugs since the game's release, but also game breaking bugs, like corrupted save files on Xbox 360, repeated crashes in certain parts of the game, and being locked out of certain missions or other content.
Because of this announcement, fans took to various forums and social networking sites to voice out their anger at WB Games for neglecting the fans' requests for fixes of game breaking bugs. Some fans even threatened to boycott future WB Games and will just pirate their games as punishment.
User "endorbr" wrote on gamespot acting like a representative for WB Games Montreal, "Sorry we're too busy working on DLC nobody wants to be bothered with fixing game breaking bugs with our initial product that we charged you $60 for. Now who wants a season pass?"
User "jd7904" mused, "Why do people buy this crap. unfinished games should be the exception, not the rule. Any more, most of the AAA publishers are keep releasing buggy unfinished games then expect us to buy them on the promise that they will fix it later in a patch. Almost every game has a day one patch to fix something major. Why don't they finish their games before they release them, not after. If some of these folks would quit buying this junk they would quit this immediately along with the nickel and dime DLC."
User "eze_sl89" said "jerks, next time, your next batman game wont be so lucky. Youve been making the same old game over and over again, arkham asylum = arkham city (but larger) = arkham origins. recycle, then sell a crappy product, then laugh at your customers, and sell them DLC? im never buying a batman game from WB again. its not about if the game actually has A LOT of bugs, its about the jerk attitude they had, they should respect us, we are the ones with the money, they must deliver a service to us."
User "roger1js" posted, "Way to encourage piracy smart ones. When crap like this is done by studios I do not want to here them complain one bit about piracy. You deserve it when your pulling this stuff. I still can't finish the game %100 because of a game breaking bug."
User "jZangetsu21" said "I haven't played this purely because I overkilled on Arkham Asylum and City.Well since you don't give a fuck about fixing your game, torrents here I come."
